What all traders need before commencement:
PL Insurance
Traders must supply a copy of their Public Liability Insurance, providing minimum cover of £5m.
Proof of right to work in the UK and evidence of home address
All applicants must provide documents that demonstrate that they have the legal right to work in the UK as a trader. Radcliffe market will use the criteria set out by the UK Border Agency to determine this. As per their website: www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/employers/preventingillegalworking.
Proof of food registration
Traders selling food must supply copies of their hygiene certificates and be registered with their local Environmental Health Authority.
Risk assessment(Food Businesses)
Traders cooking food must supply the market management with a completed risk assessment.
DBS check (Kid’s events)
Any traders supplying a child event service must present their DBS check annually. Where this is required traders cannot commence trading or organising activities before such has been provided.
Trader basic information
Traders must complete an information sheet providing basic details (name address, etc).

Signage
All trader signage is subject to our sizing and branding policy. We provide these items at cost to traders.

As described above we have clear guidelines on the packaging we permit on site.
Refuse and waste guidelines
As described above we have clear guidelines on the way traders should reduce and deal with waste to maximise re-use and recycling.
